Very plain fiddle pattern tongs that weigh 1 1/2 ounces and are 6 inches long, making them much larger than average. They have a single letter B monogrammed on the bow. There is no town mark on the 1815 hallmark but the lion is flat bottomed and the duty mark in a round punch, not oval as London. Interestingly it has either been struck twice or is a blurred punch as it gives the impression of seeing double!
