Thomas Harper I
First Mark 1790 - working till 1832 prior to 1790 had been working in the USA, came home as a loyalist, with the army in 1784. There are several TH marks from around this period so the identification is not 100% certain but this mark (below) bears more resemblance to Harper's in size, lack of pellet and style than any of the others.
Makers Mark No Pellet
These tongs cannot be dated precisely as they were never hallmarked. They are quite 'slight' though prettily bright cut. They are 4 3/4 inches long and weigh only 5/8 of an ounce. They have no damage or repairs and have a monogram DH to the bow.
