Silver Marks for Hung Chong
A small stubby looking pair of tongs bought as a curiosity. They are marked 925 silver in Chinese but not marked with the British Sterling standard mark. They are made in Canton or Shanghai by Hung Chong. They are quite heavy at 4 1/2 ins long and weighing 1 1/2 ounces. They date from between 1860 and 1930
