Makers Mark
Very badly rubbed
These are George III bright cut tongs with flared arms. The bow is unusually narrow and is monogrammed. The monogram is difficult to read but I think is a very florid BFL. The makers mark is just discernable but very rubbed. The tongs are hallmarked for 1802. They weigh 7/8 oz and are 6 ins long.
