Medocino & Point Arena

Driving down the California coast we came to Medocino, and stopped for a break. Streets of historic Victorian homes were beautifully preserved.

 We spotted the tallest flower I have ever seen!

Giant Echium

Which made a useful perch for this bird!

A little further down the coast at Point Arena we met a Racoon.

And found another type of wild Iris
