I was interested to find that the entry was largely made up of dogs with a rich gold coat colour - as I haven’t seen this many gold coats in years I feel it may warrant comment! The majority of award winners were gold rather than cream, reflecting the entry, although the few creams present were generally very high quality animals, and most made the cards. There were also very few absentees.

class, he was very accurate fore and aft,, has
real drive and holds himself well carrying his tail correctly. A happy
lively showman, his construction is good throughout and he has a very
pleasing head and expression.

Lovely balance on this large blonde boy, I liked him a lot. A happy
showman and a very sound mover, excellent topline, good tail carriage, neat
feet and strong pasterns, good reach of neck and deep mature body. Just
needs a little more feathering under the loin to complete the picture.
